My grandfather known to all his grandchildren & great~grandchildren as Poppy. He was a very special pearson who taught me many of things from driving a car to how to live an honest life and the importance of having God in my life. He was like a second father to me. What I will miss the most is his smile and seeing the way his eyes would light up when he told stories of his past. Poppy was a teacher her taught me so many things that made me a better woman, mother, and grandaughter. Poppy never said the words “I love you” instead he said I will show you that I love you so that it is not just a word…but you will know that I do! And he did just that!

It bet the back of my flip flop, and he took me into his arms an said everything will be okay. I remember feeling so safe in his arms. I love you poppy. love christina. Tammy’s best memory is the day her son was born and she put jacob into his arms and he look up to her with with a smile and the light in his eyes and said he gives me a new joy in life.
